Grazers 100% Grass-fed, 14 day hung Lamb, it’s SO flipping tasty! 😋
Jess has slow-cooked this Leg Joint for 5 hours in the oven at 150, for the last hour Jess removed the lid to crisp the fat. This makes a moist joint that just drops off the bone but with the enjoyment of a thin layer of crispy fat! Remember to add an inch of water to the bottom of your dish to keep the joint moist whilst covered and of course make a beautiful gravy at the end. #familydinner

Mid November and all our cattle are still outdoors! 🍁
A mild November to say the least.
Some of our cattle will stay out all year round but our ‘giant’ South Devon’s are heavy footed and not suited to wet, clay-like soil, so we can only keep so many outside else our permanent pasture is trodden up and destroyed.
As the weather turns we’ll soon be able to show you what happens with our select few cattle that we bring indoors… don’t worry it’s still a 100% Grass diet!

Lower total fat levels,
Higher levels of conjugated linoleic acid (CLA),
Higher vitamin and mineral levels than meat from grain-fed animals,
Higher levels of Omega-3.
🌸 It’s better for the environment…
A lower carbon footprint than grain fed cattle.
NO use of soya whose production is often associated with land use change and environmental damage
